Home goods store chain

Workofo’s team helped analyse business operations and related business rules. For each store, 50-70 business rules were identified. With that number of constraints, customer flows and employees’ preferences, it made it extremely difficult for the managers to handle.

The Workofo algorithms were able to adhere to these rules, and still optimise all employee shifts, improving customer service and flexible tasks timing.

Overall, the system was able to find 8-10% of free hours in stores, resulting in, improved employee allocation, allowing tasks to be completed on time, reducing long customer waiting times and providing an overall better customer experience.

Pharmacy chain

Our Client identified a number of union and regulatory requirements that needed to be fulfilled, and required different competences to serve different customer consulting needs.

Workofo handled all their business rules, and created optimisations that improved customer service. Flexible business rules modelling, allowed our consulting team to model different pharmacist work approaches, enabling management to choose the optimum approach for the best results.

Overall, the system was able to find 8.7% of free hours in the Pharmacy Stores. Those additional hours saved, were successfully used in a reallocation of time, which enabled considerably reduced customer waiting times, in-turn, improving customer goodwill.
