Lead Front end / Full stack developer

We're looking to expand our frontend/full stack team at Workofo. If you're a React/TypeScript developer who wants to work on an AI/ML-powered workforce management solution, this might be the role for you.

At Workofo, we use AI to help businesses create optimal, employee-friendly work schedules. Our customers include brands like Decathlon, Jysk, Tele2, Kesko Senukai, Barbora, Caffeine, and many others.
 
We're a small, friendly team passionate about helping customers improve efficiency and reduce costs. We value humor, transparency, direct communication, and actually enjoying our work.

What We're Working On

 

At Workofo, we're developing an innovative workforce management solution with AI/ML at its core. Our frontend stack includes:

• Client-side app built on React (18.3.1) with MUI/Apollo and Vite

• Next.js (v14) app for SSR and performance

• React Native (v0.75.4) mobile app with ApolloClient

• TypeScript service running on Bun/tRPC/zod

 

We use a monorepo setup with packages and apps. For communication between services, we rely on GraphQL/protobufs and tRPC.

 
Who We're Looking For

​

• Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (minimum 2 years of professional experience): you're comfortable building complex frontend applications and have a strong grasp of the fundamentals

• Familiarity with Node.js: you understand how Node.js works and its role in full-stack development

• Experience with Docker: you can write Docker files, pull images, and refresh containers smoothly

• Git expertise: you can troubleshoot tricky situations and ensure a smooth workflow for the team
  Strong communication skills: you can clearly explain technical challenges and propose solutions

• Familiarity with Next.js: we'd expect you've worked with it on at least 1-2 projects

 

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with React Native

• Experience with GraphQL, protobufs, and tRPC

• Experience with different JS/TS runtimes

• You enjoy collaborating with product owners, managers, and backend teams to bring great features to life
